Many people have said that Sony had the best E3 conference. Many have said Sony is winning now and that this year they will crush the other companies. Let's take a look at the good and bad of each companies E3 media conference and see who really comes out on top.

Here is what we got from MS:

The bad:
-We've already seen everything they showed us.
-No MGS4
-No pricecut
-Didn't spend enough time on the exclusives
-Too much number bragging

The good:
-What they showed us looked better in the MS conference than in the Sony one (because by then we'd seen it already and we got playable Assassin's Creed instead of footage)
-Halo 3
-The new arcade lineup
-The new SKU should be popular among Halo fans
-Rock Band Demo'd
-Lost Odyssey looks awesome
-New Disney Deal

Here is what we got from Sony:

The bad:
-30 minutes of them shoving the PSP down our throats. Countless craptacular games for the PSP.
-Some really really really bad games like Pain and that EchoChrome one.
-Barely got to see anything related to Home except for them walking around within it. Why can't you run? I -don't want to spend 10 minutes walking to the building across the square.
-No Final Fantasy 13. What the hell?
-Killzone 2 didn't look at all as good as before. There was way too much black smoke, black buildings, and a very dark screen where you could hardly see your enemies. The gameplay also looked very repetitive and eerily similar to the horrible game that was Killzone 1
-Sony fed us misinformation repeatedly saying UT3 and Haze were exclusives only for the PS3. What they didn't mention was they were timed exclusives. They will be making their way to the 360. In fact, I think this helps the 360 sell these games because people will be playing Halo 3 when these games come out at first.

The good:
-Metal Gear Solid 4 kicked major ass and is still a PS3 exclusive.
-NCSoft coming to PS3 exclusively to make mmo's!
-New model of the PSP was cool. Not the Star Wars one. Why was Chewbacca there?
-Final Fantasy Tactics looked amazing
-Gran Turismo also looked really good

So there's the breakdown. More bad than good. Let's compare that with Nintendo:

The bad:
-The DS games shown really weren't that great. The best DS game shown is already out (Zelda)
-Madden and Fifa look absolutely terrible on the Wii.

The good:
-New lightgun to play FPS on
-New controller wheel to play racing games on
-Mario Kart is great
-Mario Galaxy is also great
-Smash Bros on December 3rd!!!!
-Metroid looked good
-Zelda on DS looked good
-Wiifit is probably one of the best ideas ever. My mom told me she wants me to buy her a Wii for my parents' house.

There you have it. Nintendo's conference was far better than Sony's and Microsofts. I am not a Nintendo lover by any stretch of the imagination. I barely play my Wii and rarely ever talk about Nintendo on the forums, I've always liked PS3 and 360. I can't deny, though, that their conference was very exciting. A lot of new things and the ones we already knew about got even better.

Winner: Nintendo
